Bangladesh Crisis: The violence in Bangladesh is not stopping. Despite the formation of the interim government, incidents like attacks on Bangladeshi Hindus, vandalism of temples and arson are coming to the fore. After the devastation in Bangladesh, many people are trying to enter India illegally. The government has tightened security on the India-Bangladesh border. BSF personnel are keeping a close watch. The uproar in Bangladesh has also become a matter of concern for India. In particular, preventing illegal immigration from entering the country can be one of the biggest challenges for the government.

1. The population will change

Infiltrators from Bangladesh usually settle in states like West Bengal, Assam, Meghalaya and Tripura through the border route. There are many small and big rivers and hilly areas on the Bangladesh border, which makes it difficult to stop infiltration. Bangladesh has a large Muslim population. Meanwhile, there is a danger of changing the demography of these states due to a large number of infiltrators.

2. Vote bank politics

These intruders coming from across the border often become a part of vote bank politics. Many times illegal refugees get included in the voter list by making fake documents with the help of local leaders. Its effect is also being seen on local politics. Recently, fake documents of 20 thousand refugees were seized from Rae Bareli. All of them were accused of fake voting in the Lok Sabha elections.

3. The threat of terrorism

Along with the infiltrators coming from Bangladesh, terrorists can also enter the Indian border. Before the coup in Bangladesh, former PM Sheikh Hasina had also warned India. Sheikh Hasina said in clear words that many terrorists can also come to India through Bangladesh in search of infiltration.

4. Entry of intelligence agents

Many media reports have also claimed that Pakistan's intelligence agency ISI is behind the coup in Bangladesh. Meanwhile, it is possible that along with Bangladeshi infiltrators, ISI intelligence agents can also enter India illegally. If this happens, it can prove to be a big threat to the country.

5. The crisis of poverty

Allowing illegal refugees to enter the country can create an economic crisis for India. The influx of illegal refugees in West Bengal, Assam and the northeastern states will increase the slum area. Along with this, these infiltrators will also take over the resources of the state, due to which poverty in the eastern states may increase instead of decreasing.
