He further said that Sheikh Hasina had sought permission to come to India. We are in touch with the Indian community in Bangladesh. Thousands of Indians live there. Among them are 9000 students. India shares a 9000 km long border with Bangladesh. We have also asked the BSF to remain on alert.
Seeing the riots getting out of control in Bangladesh, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has left Dhaka after resigning. Now the army chief has taken over the command. He says, “We will run the government.” Still the riots do not stop. Along with this, the stir has intensified in India as well. Foreign Minister S.
