H1-B Visa Application: President Joe Biden is making every effort to improve the H-1B visa and green card backlog in America. On Wednesday, the US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) agency announced the launch of a new system for H-1B visa registration and application. This will allow multiple people within an organization, as well as their legal representatives, to collaborate on and prepare H-1B registrations and H-1B applications.
Steps were taken for this
The White House said the Department of Homeland Security has recently taken steps to reduce the potential for fraud in the immigration system. White House Press Secretary Karen Jean Pierre, responding to questions from reporters at a regular press conference on Wednesday, said that the Biden administration is continuing to take steps to reform the visa system and green cards.
At the same time, USCIS said that in March we will begin online filing of Form I-129 and related Form I-907 for online non-cap H1B applications. On April 1, USCIS will begin accepting online filings for H-1B cap applications and the related Form I-907. The primary purpose of 'Form I-907' is to request premium processing service on certain applications designated as eligible for premium processing.
Quad will maintain its momentum under India's leadership: America
White House spokesperson Karine Jean-Pierre said the Biden administration hopes that the Quad, an organization comprising the US, Australia, India and Japan, will maintain the momentum of the last three years under India's chairmanship in 2024. Similarly, the ITU group comprising India, Israel, UAE and the US also remains a priority for the Biden administration, the reasons for the ongoing conflict in West Asia will not have any impact on it.
