Dhaka, New Delhi: The movement started by students on the issue of reservation for the families of Banga-watini jawans in Bangladesh has turned violent. Others have also joined in. The bitter truth is that despite the withdrawal of that reservation bill, students and other citizens have now mobilized these anarchist elements in the freedom movement against Sheikh Hasina, the pro-India Prime Minister of Bangladesh and daughter of Bangladesh leader Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. They are demanding her resignation.

Those riots are not just against the government but now they have turned towards Hindus. The anarchists have killed more than 100 Hindus so far including two Hindu councilors. And many have vandalized Hindu temples including Kali Mandir and ISKCON temples.

Rangpur City Corporation councillor Harshwardhan Roy and another councillor Kajal Roy were also killed in these riots. It is known that Kajal Roy was shot dead.

These riots went out of control on Sunday evening. The rioters even broke the police barricades and entered inside. They created terror in Rangpur. The Kali temple and the ISKCON temple were also vandalized there. This shows that Pakistan is behind this. It is also possible that it (to Pakistan) was supplied by China.

Actually, it has been decided that when there is no rice left to eat in Pakistan, the rulers of Pakistan are instigating these riots to divert the attention of the public. Otherwise why would the rioters vandalize temples? However, some Hindus have taken refuge in the demolished temples for self-defense.

The situation has become such that the main reason for the movement has been sidelined. The movements have turned into fanaticism.

Harshwardhan Roy, who was killed in these riots, was a councillor of Parshuram Thana Awami League of Ward-4 of Rangpur city. Similarly, Kajal Roy, another Hindu Bangladeshi from Rangpur, was also a victim of these widespread riots. It is being said that she too has been shot dead.

Bangladesh has been on fire for the last few days. Curfew has been imposed in many cities from 6 pm on Sunday. The government has already closed schools and colleges. But as the riots became widespread, banks and government and semi-government institutions have announced closure for three days. However, essential services like hospitals, water, gas and electricity are continuing.

More than 300 people have lost their lives as a result of these storms. This figure is taken from information provided by police, doctors and hospitals.

India has asked its citizens not to travel to Bangladesh and as long as Indians are there, the Ministry of External Affairs has advised them to be extremely cautious and not leave their homes except for essential reasons.

Meanwhile, rioters have ordered a long march towards Dhaka from different parts of the country. The term Long March itself is derived from the Long-March order given by Mao Tse-Tung in China. The point is simple, China is behind those riots. It wants to overthrow Sheikh Hasina, form its puppet government and terrorise India. Also, they wanted to establish their naval and other military bases at the ports of Atgaon (Chittagong) and Koksha Bazar and establish their control over the Bay of Bengal.

Late reports suggest that Sheikh Hasina has vacated her official residence and moved to some other safe place. It is very likely that they will give a waiver. It is also very likely that if they resign they will seek asylum in India.

Rioters vandalized Sheikh Hasina's government palace. Internet is closed there.

Sheikh Hasina has left the country. The army chief has called a press conference.
