Dhaka: People have revolted against the current Sheikh Hasina government in India's neighboring country Bangladesh. Thousands of people marched towards Sheikh Hasina's residence, after which Hasina resigned from the post of Prime Minister and left Bangladesh and came to India. The angry mob attacked Sheikh Hasina's house and vandalized it. When the memorial of Hasina's father Mujibur Rahman was broken with a hammer. Not only this, Sheikh Hasina's party set fire to the offices of the Awami League. With this, Sheikh Hasina's 15-year rule in Bangladesh ended, after which the public later celebrated.

In Bangladesh's capital Dhaka, the country's Army Chief General Waqar Uz Zaman said that Sheikh Hasina has resigned from the post of Prime Minister and an interim government has taken over. That is, now the army has taken full responsibility of Bangladesh. The Army Chief said that please cooperate, I have taken all the responsibility of this country. This decision has been taken after a meeting with all the politicians.

In 1971, a war broke out between India and Pakistan, during which a movement was started demanding the creation of a separate country and later Bangladesh, which was earlier a part of Pakistan. The families of freedom fighters who participated in this war and movement were given 30 percent reservation in jobs etc. in Bangladesh. This reservation was given by the Bangladesh High Court, after which violent protests broke out across the country against the court's decision. People's anger erupted directly against Sheikh Hasina and her government. More than 300 people have been killed so far in the violent protests. This entire movement against Sheikh Hasina's government was started by students and youth which later took a widespread form.

People rebelled against the government directly along with the reservation issue and marched towards Sheikh Hasina's house and demanded her resignation. As soon as Sheikh Hasina got the information that thousands of people were coming together to attack, she fled from the house with the help of an army helicopter. Later news came that Hasina has taken refuge in India. She will be kept in a safe place in India for the time being. On the other hand, as soon as the Bangladesh Army Chief announced the resignation of Sheikh Hasina, people started celebrating.

People complained that there was no democracy in the country during Sheikh Hasina's rule, she was ruling as per her will like a dictator. Parliament elections were held recently in Bangladesh, although the opposition did not participate in it and boycotted the entire election. Now that Sheikh Hasina's government is over, there is a possibility of re-election. According to local media reports, those who rebelled against Sheikh Hasina said that now not only the students are happy, but people have come out on the streets and are celebrating the end of Sheikh Hasina's rule and saying that we have freed the country from dictatorship and revived democracy, now we are free.

Power change in Bangladesh is a challenge for India

Anti-India Islamic radicals are on the laughing stock again in Dhaka

New Delhi: On 15 August 1975, the army took power by killing Bangladesh President Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and his family members. Nearly 49 years later, the army and opposition parties have come together and captured power again by removing his daughter Sheikh Hasina from power in just 45 minutes. Hasina, who won for the fourth time in the disputed election in January, has now fled to India and is hoping to get political asylum in London. Bangladesh's political uncertainty is a matter of concern for India. After neighboring countries Pakistan, Nepal, Sri Lanka and Maldives, now another country is slipping out of the hands of India's biggest enemy China.

India and Bangladesh share a 4156 km border. Infiltrators from Bangladesh have always created problems not only for Assam, West Bengal but for the entire country. Secondly, the political parties, army and other organizations opposing Sheikh Hasina have a fundamentalist mindset. In such a situation, India will have to be cautious.

Khaleda Zia of the opposition Bangladesh Nationalist Party is biased towards China and Pakistan. Sheikh Hasina is an Indian agent and the campaign to expel Indians from Bangladesh has been led by Zia and another opposition party Jamaat-e-Islami. Both parties also support Islamic fundamentalism. Sheikh Hasina has maintained strong ties with India over the last 15 years, including military, political, diplomatic and economic cooperation. Before 2009, it was easy for anti-India terrorist camps in Bangladesh to shelter terrorists and infiltrate terrorists into India. The past is likely to be revived. And that is why India will have to keep a close eye on the situation in Bangladesh, whose government will be formed there, whether the army will remain in power or whether democracy will be restored.

Pak.China instigates radicals

Two Hindu councillors were murdered and Hindu temples were vandalised

Dhaka, New Delhi: In Bangladesh, these anarchist elements have now come out against the pro-India Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. These riots are now not just against the government but have turned towards the Hindus. On Sunday, anarchists killed more than 100 people, including two Hindu councilors. Radical elements have vandalized many Hindu temples including Kali Mandir and ISKCON temples.

Rangpur City Corporation councillor Harshwardhan Roy and another councillor Kajal Roy were also killed in these riots. It is known that Kajal Roy was shot dead.

These riots went out of control on Sunday evening. The rioters even broke the police barricades and entered inside. They created terror in Rangpur. The Kali temple and the ISKCON temple were also vandalized there. The attacks by the fundamentalists show that Pakistan and China are suspected to be behind this.

Actually, it has been decided that when there is no rice left to eat in Pakistan, the rulers of Pakistan are instigating these riots to divert the attention of the public. Otherwise why would the rioters vandalise temples? However, some Hindus have taken refuge in the demolished temples for self-defence. The situation has become such that the main reason of the movement has been sidelined. The movements have turned into fanaticism.

Harshwardhan Roy, who was killed in these riots, was a councillor of Parshuram Thana Awami League of Ward-4 of Rangpur city. Similarly, Kajal Roy, another Hindu Bangladeshi from Rangpur, was also a victim of these widespread riots. It is being said that she too has been shot dead.
