Kanpur, 01 March (Hindustan Reporter). Under the Pradhan Mantri Kusum Solar Pump Scheme, 18513 farmers have deposited their bank token money in the financial year 2023-24 in Uttar Pradesh. But till now only 1277 borings have been verified. This information was given by Deputy Director Agriculture Chaudhary Arun Kumar on Friday.
He told that 34269 were fixed in Uttar Pradesh, but till now the total booking has been done by 28384 farmers. However, 4105 tokens were canceled due to non-deposit of bank token money. However, the government is always making efforts to advance the farmers. To avail the benefits of Pradhan Mantri Kusum Pump Yojana, 18513 farmers have deposited token money. As soon as the budget comes from the government, the work of providing benefits of the scheme is being done rapidly. A total of 1277 borings have been verified so far in this financial year in Uttar Pradesh.
