How many deaths?

According to information, five people died in the violence in Fani, Bangladesh. Apart from this, four people died in Sirajganj, three in Munshiganj, three in Bogura, three in Magura, three in Bhola, three in Rangpur, two in Pabna, two in Sylhet, one in Comilla, one in Jaipurha, one in Dhaka and one in Barisal.

More than 300 policemen injured

According to information received from the police, 14 policemen have been killed so far in the violence that broke out during the reservation protest in Bangladesh. Out of these, 13 have died in Inayatpur police station of Sirajganj. Apart from this, more than 300 policemen have been injured.

What is the whole matter?

It is worth noting that recently there have been violent clashes between the police and the protesting students in Bangladesh. The protesters are demanding the abolition of the controversial reservation system. Apart from this, 30 percent of government jobs have been reserved for the families of those freedom fighters who fought for the independence of Bangladesh in the year 1971.

Earlier, India has asked its citizens living in Bangladesh to stay in touch and remain alert. A social media post issued by the Indian High Commission in Bangladesh said.
