Patna, 03 August (HS). Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar's Patna office has received a bomb threat. This threatening mail has been sent by Al Qaeda to the CMO's official email ID. The ATS team is investigating the matter and the related mail ID is also being traced.
In fact, on the 16th of July, a mail threatening to blow up the Chief Minister's office in Patna was received in which it was written – “Even the special police of Bihar cannot do anything to him. Do not try to take it lightly.” After the case was registered in the Secretariat police station, when the investigation started, it came to light that the threat was given in the name of Al Qaeda group. This threatening mail was sent from the ID achw700@gmail.com. On August 02, the police registered a case against unknown persons under section 351 (4), (3) and 66 (F) of BNS 2023 and IT Act.
Let us tell you that earlier Patna airport had also received a bomb threat. This threat was also given through mail. After which the security arrangements were tightened. Although no such incident happened but the security is still increased. In such a situation, the matter has again heated up due to the threat of blowing up the Chief Minister's office.
