Varanasi, 02 August (HS). District Magistrate S. Rajlingam reached the spot on Friday afternoon on the complaint of waterlogging problem near Hanuman temple located near the district headquarters. The District Magistrate inspected the spot on the written complaint of the advocates.
The District Magistrate gave necessary instructions to the officers of the concerned department. After this, he directed the Jal Kal for repairing the sewer line and cleaning the drains and the Nagar Nigam for interlocking the floor. He contacted the officers over phone and instructed them to repair the sewer line from the registry office to the Zila Panchayat and get the drains of the court cleaned properly. Apart from this, he also inquired from the advocates present about the progress of the canteen and tin shed being constructed in the court.
