Mirzapur, 02 August (HS) Under the Yogi government's zero tolerance towards crime, District Magistrate Priyanka Niranjan has confiscated the property of mafia don Chunnu Yadav.
Orders were issued. In compliance with this, on Friday, Superintendent of Police Abhinandan confiscated the mafia's immovable property worth Rs 4.5 crore.
In compliance with the policy of strict action against notorious mafias, in order to comply with the order of the District Magistrate, on Friday, the Superintendent of Police attached a 16932 sq ft plot (worth about Rs. 4.5 crores) in Arazi No. 138/987 of village Domrauli, in the name of his mother, from the money earned by criminal mafia (gang leader) Chunnu Yadav alias Shivshankar from illegal and anti-social activities, under Section 14(1) of the Gangsters and Anti-Social Activities (Prevention) Act, 1986.
The Superintendent of Police said that more than a dozen cases have been registered in Katra Kotwali against Shivshankar alias Chunnu Yadav under serious sections like extortion, Goonda Act and Gangster Act for earning money illegally and acquiring movable and immovable property.
