Deoria, 31 July (HS). On the completion of superannuation age of Omkar Pandey posted in District Information Office, a farewell ceremony was organized in Nagari Pracharini Sabha and he was given an emotional farewell. During the ceremony, retired Omkar Pandey was honored by giving him a shawl and bouquet. A large number of journalists participated in the farewell ceremony and shared their experiences.
District Information Officer Shantanu Srivastava praised the valuable services of Omkar Pandey and wished him good health. He said that since 1989, Mr. Pandey has served the Information Department in Ghazipur, Mau, Kushinagar, Gorakhpur and Deoria for 35 years till now. His experiences have always been beneficial. Personnel working in government service are sure to retire one day.
State Vice President of Rural Journalist Association Captain Virendra Singh praised Omkar Pandey wholeheartedly. District President of Rural Journalist Association Pauhari Sharan Rai said that Omkar Pandey has worked as in-charge in the district for a long time. He discharged his duties very well as a bridge between the press and the administration. Divisional Vice President Nagendra Nath Sharma said that after retirement, he should give the benefit of his government experience to the society and move forward with positivity.
