Prof. Sameer Raizada became the Head of the Department of Mathematics and Statistics

Ayodhya, July 31 (HS). Prof. Sameer Kumar Raizada of the Department of Mathematics and Statistics of Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Avadh University took over as the Head of the Department on Wednesday. He took over the charge of the post of Head of the Department from the current Head of the Department and Dean of Science, Prof. S.S. Mishra. On this achievement, all the teachers and employees of the department welcomed him by presenting a flower bouquet. Prof. Raizada has also worked as the Head of the Department in the past. This is his second tenure. Apart from this, he has also adorned the post of Dean Student Welfare of the University. Currently, he is also discharging the responsibility of Director of Research and Development Cell of the University.

After taking over as the Head of the Department of Mathematics and Statistics in the University, he expressed his gratitude to the Vice Chancellor and held a meeting with the colleagues of the department. In the meeting, Prof. Raijada discussed with everyone about the preparation for the NAAC assessment which is in 2026 and told that the department will organize a national conference in November 2024 and an international conference in 2025. With the cooperation of all, the departmental educational activities will be taken to new heights. Outgoing Head of Department, Prof. S. S. Mishra, former Head of Department, Prof. C. K. Mishra, Dr. Abhishek Singh, Dr. P. K. Dwivedi, Dr. Sandeep Rawat, Manoj Verma, Shalini Mishra, Anamika Pathak, research student Aabhas Mishra, Karmjeet, Sachin Kumar and all the employees congratulated Prof. Raijada on becoming the Head of the Department.
