Auraiya, 31 July (HS). Under Jal Jeevan Mission, the water testing program organized by District Drinking Water and Sanitation Committee Auraiya and distribution of written material for IEC awareness was started. After the program held in the block under Jal Jeevan Mission program, ADO Panchayat ISB Santosh Tiwari flagged off the teams of Amber Press Lucknow for water testing and IEC (Water Awareness Campaign written material) from Block Bhagyanagar campus.
These teams will provide training to women doing water testing through field test kits to the pre-selected women in each revenue village. Along with this, the villagers will be given detailed information on water-borne diseases, utility of pure drinking water, communicable diseases, etc. to save people from such diseases.
ADO Panchayat told in the program organized in the block office that this program will be organized in every revenue village and this will work for public awareness to prevent water borne diseases in the village. Along with this, training will also be given for water testing and information will also be given about uploading it on the portal. He said that such public awareness programs will prove beneficial for the people.
Coordinator Indra Bhushan Rai, Ajay Kumar Shukla, Prashant, Ganesh, Surendra etc. were present on this occasion.
