Ismail Haniya was the leader of the terrorist organization Hamas. He had come to Iran for the swearing-in ceremony of Iran's new President Masoud Pajeshkian. Haniya had three sons who were killed in an airstrike in April this year. His sister also died last month.
Ismail Haniya was born in 1962 in the Al-Shati refugee camp in the Gaza Strip. He studied Arabic literature at the Gaza Islamic University. And he joined Hamas. He became the leader of the organization after Hamas won the elections in 2006. While Hamas won the majority of seats in the Palestinian Legislative Assembly elections.
Haniya lived in a residence in Gaza used as a terrorist base. It was hit by IDF airstrikes in November. Haniya usually lived in Qatar. On Haniya's death, the Israeli minister said that the world will become better to a great extent. He said that this is the right way to clean this filth from the world. He said that there is no mercy for these creatures.
