Raids at several places in search of accused in Rs 1000 crore land case

In search of the accused in the case registered in Kotwali police station regarding illegal occupation of land worth more than one thousand crores, the Kotwali police along with the police team of many police stations raided several suspicious places. However, no significant success could be achieved during this time.

Deputy Commissioner of Police East Shravan Kumar Singh said that the search for the accused in the case registered recently in Kanpur Nagar Kotwali regarding illegal occupation of government land worth more than one thousand crores is going on continuously. Some journalists are also named among the named accused. On Tuesday night, information was received that Sonu Pandey alias Vivek Pandey, resident of Koyla Nagar, Rahul Bajpai, resident of Chalis Dukan of Babupurwa police station area and Sonu's brother-in-law Rajjan Tiwari, resident of Parade police station Moolganj, were hiding in their house. On this information, two teams were formed under the leadership of Assistant Police Commissioner Babu Purwa Amarnath Yadav, Assistant Police Commissioner Chakeri Dilip Kumar Singh and raids were conducted at possible places.

In the above action, Inspector-in-Charge Mulganj, Inspector-in-Charge Colonelganj, Inspector-in-Charge Gwaltoli, Inspector-in-Charge Fazalganj, Inspector-in-Charge Juhi, Inspector-in-Charge Kakadev, Inspector-in-Charge Chakeri, Inspector-in-Charge Babupurwa, Inspector-in-Charge Kidwai Nagar, Police Station-in-Charge Gujaini and the police force of Police Station Kotwali were present.
