Ghaziabad, July 31 (HS). Five police personnel have been suspended for the ruckus that happened after a police written Bolero car entered the lane reserved for Kanwariyas. The policemen have been accused of negligence in duty and did not stop the Bolero from entering the lane reserved for Kanwariyas. Police officials believe that if the policemen had been doing their duty promptly, the Bolero would not have entered the reserved lane and the ruckus that happened would not have happened.
In the case of negligence, DCP Rajesh Kumar said that in this case, apart from Inspector Sunil Kumar and Ravendra Chauhan, suspension action has been taken against a woman constable Rashmi, traffic police head constable Pradeep and traffic police constable Akhil.
Let us tell you that on Monday, near Duhai RRTS station on Meerut Road, the Kanwariyas broke a Bolero that had entered the lane with hockey sticks and overturned it. After that, the police reached the spot and took the Bolero and its driver into custody and pacified the Kanwariyas. Avnish Tyagi's Bolero runs on rent in the Vigilance Department of Power Corporation. Therefore, police stickers and hooter were also installed on the vehicle, but the angry Kanwariyas did not show any leniency even after seeing all this.
Police say that the people who vandalised the Bolero are said to be residents of Delhi's Seelampur area. The truth of the case is being ascertained through police video footage.
