A married woman resident of a village in the Bilari police station area of ​​the district has accused her in-laws of harassing her for not meeting her demand of five lakh rupees in dowry and taxes. The victim says that on Monday her in-laws beat her and threw her out of the house. Shabnur, wife of Iqrar Hussain, a resident of Thanwala village in Bilari Kotwali area, told in a complaint given to the police station on Tuesday that she was married to Alam, a resident of Thanwala village, three years ago.

The complainant alleged that her husband Alam, mother-in-law Shugra, brother-in-law Faisal, married sisters-in-law Tabassum and Sana, brother-in-law Shanu and Sikandar started torturing her for demanding five lakh rupees and a car in dowry. On Monday afternoon, her in-laws beat her with belts and sticks and threw her out of the house. Bilari police station inspector RP Singh said that Shabnur's complaint has been received. Investigation is being done in this case, action will be taken on the basis of whatever facts come out in the investigation.
