Moradabad, July 30 (HS). A camp was organized by the Municipal Corporation Moradabad at Gulzarimal Dharamshala on Tuesday for resolving objections related to GIS survey and for recovery. Out of the 187 objections received at the camp, 115 were resolved on the spot and a total of Rs 14.36 lakh was recovered.
Regional councilor Dr. Gaurav Srivastava said that a notice of tax recovery of Rs 17,000 was sent to a person of the ward on the basis of GIS survey. After registering the objection, when it was assessed, the tax came to Rs 5200. In this way, deficiencies were found in the tax bills sent to many people on the basis of GIS survey. Chief Tax Assessment Officer Aarti Singh said that along with the resolution of the objection, tax of Rs 14.36 lakh was also deposited. A camp will be set up at Madhubani Park on Kanth Road on Wednesday.
