In the meeting of cleanliness and Swachh Bharat Mission management, a report was sought regarding the verification of Izzat Ghar construction

Auraiya, 29 July (HS). District Magistrate Dr. Indramani Tripathi reviewed the allocation of first installment and second installment for the construction of individual toilets Izzat Ghar in the meeting of District Sanitation Committee, District Swachh Bharat Mission Management Committee held in Manas Auditorium at Collectorate and directed. By August 2, 2024, all the concerned ADO Panchayats should verify the applications received and provide a report in every case so that the installment can be released to the eligible and the work can start.

He also directed that registered MNREGA labourers should be employed for the work and supply of construction material should be done by forming a supply committee of eligible persons village-wise so that the work can be done speedily and uniformly. He said that strict action will be taken against anyone who shows laxity or negligence in this work. He directed District Panchayat Raj Officer Kamini Gautam to personally review the dispatch of first and second installments so that the advance installment can be released on time. He asked all concerned to also maintain a digital diary. He directed the District Panchayat Raj Officer to nominate other officers including Block Development Officer for inspection of model villages so that they can verify the standards of model villages and provide a report.

Chief Development Officer Ram Sumer Gautam, Senior Treasurer Pradeep Kumar, District Development Officer Karuna Pati Mishra, District Basic Education Officer Sanjeev Kumar, District Program Officer Virendra Kumar, all ADO Panchayat including Gram Panchayat Secretary and Village Head etc. were present in the meeting.
