Bijnor, 29 July (HS). When District Magistrate Ankit Kumar Agarwal made a surprise inspection of Bijnor Tehsil, he found the Tehsildar Court open but the Tehsildar and his peon were absent. Two persons were found working on the dias in the court, who introduced themselves as Subhash Kumar and Mukesh Kumar respectively. Subhash Kumar said that he is the clerk of Pawan Kumar Advocate sitting in the Tehsil premises, while Mukesh Kumar introduced himself as a computer operator.
In this regard, the District Magistrate directed the Sub-District Magistrate to fix responsibility in case a competent employee is not present in the Tehsildar Court. Get an inquiry done regarding the above two employees whether they are government employees or outsiders. If both these employees are outsiders, then take legal action against them as per rules and inform.
During the inspection of the District Magistrate, the office of the Revenue Clerk was found locked. On this, the District Magistrate was told that the attendance register is maintained by the Revenue Clerk Anita only. Anita was called to open the lock and then the attendance of the employees was taken. At the time of recording the attendance of the employees, Chetan Swaroop, Wasil Waki, Navis, Sanjeev Sharma, Judicial Magistrate, Shubham Kumar AMJ, Bina Rani, Sunil Kumar Sharma, Registrar Kanungo, Sanjay Singh AWBN, Ramdhan, Junior Assistant (Consolidation Department) were found absent.
Whereas in the supply office in the tehsil premises, Rashmi Singh, Supply Inspector, Anuj Kumar, Supply Inspector were found absent. In the Nazarat section, Gopal Sharan, Ankul Chaudhary, Usha Devi, Santosh Devi, Mohit Kumar, Ajit Kumar, Babita and Devendra Kumar Class IV were found absent. Upon inspection of the Revenue Inspector's room, only two Revenue Inspectors, Nagendra Singh and Nidhiraj Kumar, were found present on the spot. All the remaining Revenue Inspectors were found absent.
