Jaunpur, July 29 (HS). The body of a 15-year-old boy was found in the Gomti river near Wasirpur village in Zafarabad police station area on Monday. Police reached the spot after receiving information from people and took the body out of the river. The body was identified shortly after it was found. In this case, police station in-charge Jaiprakash Yadav said that Aditya Bind, son of Sunil Bind, a resident of Chitrasari Shakra Mandi in the city Kotwali area, had gone to take a bath at Hanuman Ghat in the city on Sunday with his three other friends. There he got stuck in the flow of water of the Gomti river and went missing.
After the incident, his friends informed his family. The family kept searching for him. In the evening, the police station was informed about Aditya drowning. Finally, the body was found in Wasirpur on Monday. The family was informed through the police station. The family was in a bad state since the incident. Father Sunil Bind fainted after seeing the body. Police post in-charge Ishwarchandra Tripathi took the body in custody and sent it for post-mortem.
