Yogi government is instilling the feeling of 'community participation' in children

Lucknow, July 29 (HS). Yogi government is celebrating 'Shiksha Saptah' in the entire state. Under this, 'Community Participation Day' was celebrated on the seventh day. Through this, the feelings of 'community participation' were sown in the children of council schools to make them proficient. During this, experts from various fields not only shared their knowledge, skills and experience with the children, but also told them the importance of education by organizing Shiksha Chaupal. The names of the active volunteers who contributed to educating the council children were inscribed on the 'wall of respect' or 'information board' of the school, and to make the children proficient, rallies were organized to make them aware. Not only this, the feelings of 'community participation' were instilled in them by organizing street plays.

According to Director General School Education Kanchan Verma, on the instructions of the Ministry of Education, Government of India, Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Department celebrated 'Education Week' in council primary, upper primary and Kasturba Gandhi Residential Girls Schools between 22 to 28/29 July. For this, different activities and programs were scheduled for different days. In this sequence, 'Community Participation Day' was celebrated on 28/29 July.

The focus was on these

– Experts from various institutions shared their knowledge and skills with the children in the school as per their choice.

– Shiksha Chaupal was organised in community, school, local institution.

– The names of active volunteers were inscribed on the ‘Wall of Respect, Information Board’ in the school.

– Thank you letter written to volunteers by Principal, teachers, students.

– A rally or street play was organised.

– 'Be a Volunteer Campaign' was conducted in schools and community in collaboration with SMC.
