Indian Navy's INS Tabar has reached Russia to participate in the Russian Navy Day celebrations. Russian President Vladimir Putin on Sunday welcomed the Indian Navy personnel on board INS Tabar and wished them luck for their participation in the celebrations. India and Russia have had friendly relations for years. On this occasion, the relations between the two countries will become more sweet.
The Russian Navy has been holding the Navy Day parade since 2017. This year, 20 Russian ships, gunboats, four cruise ships and a submarine took part in the Russian Navy Day event. India's INS Tabar, Algerian training ship Soummam and China's trusted Jiaozuo took part in the celebrations. According to information, about 2500 naval personnel marched in St. Petersburg.

India's INS Tabar is a stealth frigate built in Russia for India. This Indian Ninety is one of the oldest stealth warships. It was commissioned in Kaliningrad, Russia in the year 2004. INS Tabar is equipped with modern weapons and sensors. The ship has been commissioned in Mumbai under the Western Naval Command.
