Agra, 27 July (HS). Uttar Pradesh has a clear zero tolerance policy against crime, so keeping in mind the security needs of the state, a detailed action plan has been prepared in the vision of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. Now working on this action plan, the project of construction of residential and non-residential buildings in the new Commissionerate Building and GRP Line in Agra is being accelerated. As per the intention of the government, the Planning Department has started the process of appointment and allocation of work of Project Management Consultancy Agency to do both these works.
A state government spokesperson said that the new commissionerate building in Agra district will be completed at a cost of Rs 65 crore. This building will be equipped with various types of modern facilities. These facilities will also include an advanced dedicated war room for surveillance and video monitoring, from where the surveillance and monitoring process can be completed as per the need of various areas of the entire Agra region. Whereas, the residential and non-residential buildings to be built in the GRP line at a cost of Rs 55 crore will also be equipped with futuristic design and advanced civic amenities.
DPR will be prepared in 75 days
All the construction and development works to be done in the new commissionerate building and GRP line in the district will be done in Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) mode. The target is to complete all the construction and development works of the new commissionerate building within a time period of 18 months after the determination and allocation of the PMC agency. In this sequence, the architectural design and detailed project report will be prepared by the agency in the first 75 days. After getting approval, further construction work will start. During this time, the PMC agency will also have to serve a defect liability period of 36 months. At the same time, the construction and development of residential and non-residential buildings to be built in 2.12 acres of GRP line will be completed in 18 months after the determination and allocation of the agency. Here too, the agency will have to prepare the architectural design and detailed project report (DPR) in the first 75 days. At the same time, the defect liability period for this project has also been kept at 36 months. It is believed that the process of agency determination and work allocation will be completed in the month of August, after which the way will be paved for speedy work on both these projects.
Latest innovation technology will be used in construction work
Under the project, all construction works will be completed in compliance with the Energy Conservation Building Code. The latest innovation technology will be used in these construction works as per the standards of the Building Material and Technology Promotion Council. These buildings will be equipped with automatic fire fighting and fire alarm systems, solar water heaters, CCTV, lifts, DG sets, electric substations and solar power generation units. However, before completing these works, a detailed master plan will be prepared by the designated PMC agency which will be based on architectural design, concept plan, 3D view and animated walk through model. Construction work will be carried forward rapidly only after approval on this. Monitoring will also be done to limit the level of noise and air pollution while keeping all construction works environmentally friendly.
There will also be provision for a hospital in the new commissionerate building
The new commissionerate building will also have a functional medical unit that can function like a hospital. It will also include operation theatres, ICU and CCU units. The hospital will be equipped with medical gas, compressed air and steam PNG supply systems. Apart from this, it will be equipped with a bulk storage system, centralised kitchen and hospital waste management system. Overall, the new commissionerate building will be developed as a state of the art facility which will be built keeping in mind the future needs. At the same time, the residential and non-residential buildings of GRP will also be constructed and developed according to futuristic design and technology.
