Construction corporation incharge trapped after spending more than two crore, case filed

Lucknow, 27 July (HS). The name of Manoj Yadav, unit in-charge of State Construction Corporation in Uttar Pradesh, is in the headlines. A case has been registered against him in the Vigilance Establishment Varanasi. It has been told that Manoj Yadav has earned Rs 88 lakh 63 thousand 739 legally. At the same time, he spent Rs 2 crore 99 lakh 19 thousand 910. In this way, he has spent Rs 2 crore more than his income.

A case of disproportionate expenditure has been registered against Manoj Yadav on the complaint of Inspector Vivek Mishra of the concerned police station of Vigilance Establishment Varanasi. If Inspector Vivek Mishra is to be believed, an open investigation was given to the Vigilance Establishment against Manoj Kumar, a native of Palhi Patti of Cholapur, on July 9 last year 2021. During the investigation in this case, the allegations were found to be true and the Vigilance Establishment sent its report to the government level on March 19, 2024.

He told that unit in-charge Manoj Yadav was posted in Prayagraj. Manoj Yadav was working as Additional Project Manager and In-charge of Electricity Unit in Rajkiya Nirman Nigam at that time. During that time, he spent more than two crore rupees from his earned income. When he was questioned about this, he could not give the correct answer.
