Moradabad, July 25 (HS). A resident of Udham Singh Nagar district of Uttarakhand, in a complaint given to the Thakurdwara police station on Thursday, has accused a Thakurdwara resident of duping him of Rs 14 lakh in the name of getting his sons a job in a government inter college. The complainant father has demanded action in the matter from the police station.
Hanis Ahmed, a resident of Banskhedi in Kashipur police station area of Udham Singh Nagar district of Uttarakhand, gave a complaint to the police on Thursday. In which he said that he met a person living in a locality of Thakurdwara about three years ago. The said person told him that he helps people get government jobs. On this, Hanis talked about getting jobs for his two sons Nazim Aliv and Shane Alam, then the said accused person said that he would get both of them jobs as clerks in the government college of Thakurdwara.
Falling into the trap of the accused, Hanees gave him Rs 14 lakh in cash. According to Hanees, the accused gave him fake appointment letters for his two sons in Government Inter College Thakurdwara in the name of Bareilly office. When he reached the Government Inter College with both the sons, he found out that the appointment letters were fake. After this, he went to the accused's house with his family to get the money back, but he promised to return it later. Now the accused is refusing to return the money. Thakurdwara Police Station SHO Rajiv Chaudhary said that a complaint has been received in the matter from a person resident of Uttarakhand, which is being investigated.
