Meerut, 25 July (HS). A person died under suspicious circumstances on Thursday in Ganeshpur village of Hastinapur police station area. His body was found hanging from a tree in a mango orchard. The police have sent the body for post-mortem and started investigation.
On Thursday, the body of a man was found hanging from a tree in a mango orchard in Ganeshpur village under suspicious circumstances. As soon as the information was received, a crowd of people gathered there and informed the police. When the police tried to identify the body, it was identified as Rahul (45), son of Rajesh, a resident of Muzaffarnagar. During interrogation, the police came to know that Rahul was married to the daughter of Arvind, a resident of Ganeshpur village. Rahul was living with his wife and children in his in-laws' house in Ganeshpur for the last three months due to a dispute between his brothers in Muzaffarnagar. According to family members, he was lying down at his home on Wednesday evening, but on Thursday morning his body was found hanging from a tree. People told that on Thursday morning itself Rahul had bought a rope from a hardware shop, which was found hanging around his neck on a mango tree. On this basis, the police is considering it a suicide. The police has also recovered a suicide note from the deceased person's pocket. According to the police, the post-mortem report is awaited. The case is also being investigated on many points.
