Jaunpur 24 July (HS). A one-day workshop was organized in the Aryabhatta Auditorium of Veer Bahadur Singh Purvanchal University on Wednesday under the joint aegis of Umanath Singh Autonomous State Medical College and Veer Bahadur Singh Purvanchal University. In the workshop organized on the subject of Mastering Medical Emergency under Continuing Medical Education, light was thrown on maintaining the competence of people in the medical field and learning about the new and developing areas of their field.
The workshop was inaugurated by the chief guest, Prof. Vandana Singh, Vice Chancellor, Veer Bahadur Singh Purvanchal University. In her address, the chief guest described the subject matter of the workshop being organised jointly with the medical college as relevant in today's times. She highlighted the importance of such workshops and training as well as its significance in life.
Medical College Principal Dr Shiv Kumar informed about the subject of proficiency in medical emergency in this workshop organized under Continuing Medical Education and what concrete steps should the students associated with the medical field take in an emergency in life, so that people can be given appropriate treatment at the right time. In this workshop organized today, in different sessions, various subject experts from the medical field trained the participants present on various topics related to medical emergency.
Professor Ajay Dwivedi, Dean Student Welfare of Purvanchal University was the special guest. On this occasion, 260 participants including Chief Medical Superintendent Dr. A.A. Jafri, Dr. Ruchira Sethi, Dr. Tabassum, Dr. Ashish Yadav, Dr. Umesh Saroj, Dr. Vinod Verma, Dr. Sachidanand, workshop coordinator Dr. Manoj Kumar Pandey, organizing secretary Dr. Adarsh Kumar Yadav and doctors from various departments of the medical college, MBBS students, paramedical staff and paramedical students participated in the workshop.
