A trailer loaded with lime from Rajasthan and going to Bhognipur in Kanpur countryside, lost control and overturned on the National Highway near Jagatpur due to the driver dozing off and hitting the divider. The operating staff suffered minor injuries due to this, while the Etawah to Kanpur road was completely jammed due to the overturning of the trailer. The police, who arrived on the information, removed the vehicles from the service road and took the injured to the hospital. During this, the highway remained jammed for about two hours.
Truck driver Anil Yadav was carrying lime from Nagori, Rajasthan to Bhogni. On Wednesday morning, as soon as the vehicle reached the Jagatpur highway in Ajitmal Kotwali area, the driver dozed off. The truck went out of control and overturned on the highway. Due to this, the lime kept in the trailer got scattered all over the highway. Due to this, a long queue of vehicles was formed on the Etawah highway. The trailer driver was not seriously injured in the incident. On the information given by the driver, the truck was removed by cranes. Apart from this, they got the vehicles stuck in the jam on the highway moved forward through the service road. After about two hours, the trailer could be removed by the crane. During this time people kept passing through the service road.
