A case of assault has come to light. The relatives are angry over the death of the patient who assaulted the doctor. The police have started taking action in the case.
Ignis Hospital is located in Gomtinagar Extension. A patient was admitted in the hospital. He died during treatment late at night. On this, the relatives of the deceased patient first created a ruckus accusing negligence in treatment and then started beating the doctor and hospital staff. Angry with the death of the patient, the relatives also misbehaved and beat up former KGMU professor Dr. Ravi Dev. This act of the relatives was captured in the CCTV cameras installed in the hospital. Meanwhile, Gomtinagar police station reached on information. But by then the relatives involved in the fight had fled. However, the police have started action in the case by interrogating other family members. Gomtinagar police station said that action is being taken by identifying the people involved in the fight in the CCTV footage.
