Lucknow, 24 July (HS). A tree plantation program was held on Wednesday at Yashoda Rastogi Girls Inter College in Ashrafabad area of ​​Lucknow. In this program, Principal Dr. Kusum Lata Rai and teachers planted saplings wearing green colored sarees to give the message of environment. Students were very excited to see the teachers arriving wearing sarees of the same color.

Principal Dr. Kusum Lata Rai said that plantation programs are being held in many schools in Lucknow. In this series, we have planted trees in a unique way in our school too. A dress code has been fixed for planting our trees, which has a hidden message about the environment. Plants that maintain good health have been selected for plantation. Mango, guava, basil, lemongrass, evergreen trikutam and Chandni plants have been planted.

He said that Tulsi plant has been planted specially. This plant is full of medicinal properties. After planting the plants, a pledge has also been taken to protect them. To ensure that we pay special attention to the plants we have planted, the teachers have been told the identity of their plants.
