Lucknow, July 22 (HS). The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is very serious about the by-elections to be held on 10 assembly seats in Uttar Pradesh. Since the Lok Sabha election results were not as expected, the party is moving ahead with cautious steps. For this, the BJP is busy making strategies.
On Monday, a meeting was held at the BJP state headquarters under the chairmanship of state president Bhupendra Singh Chaudhary with state organization minister Dharampal Singh and deputy chief ministers Keshav Prasad Maurya and Brajesh Pathak. Preparations for the assembly by-elections were discussed in the meeting.
The state president said that everyone has to ensure the victory of the party in the assembly by-election. The preparations for the election have to go to the booth level. For this, all the officials of the party as well as the fronts and cells have to be involved. Wherever there is a by-election, a strategy was made to involve the workers of all the fronts and cells of that district in the election. In this connection, a meeting of the backward class cell has been called at the state BJP office on Tuesday. At present, the meetings of the regional working committee and the district working committee are going on. Therefore, it was said that the meeting should be conducted in a cordial atmosphere. Apart from this, discussions were held on activating the party organization as well as the membership campaign.
State General Secretary (Organization) Dharam Pal said that the program 'Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam' will continue till August 15. It should be ensured that the Mann Ki Baat program is organized in a better manner on July 28.
