11 people died due to collapse of a bridge on a river in China due to heavy rains

Beijing/New Delhi: 11 people were killed when a part of a bridge over a highway suddenly collapsed in northwestern China, which boasts of its top technology and modern infrastructure. Local officials gave this information. Giving this information on Saturday, the provincial broadcasting department further said that due to sudden heavy rains on Friday night in Shangluo, located in Zhashui County, the flood ended. In such a situation, a large part of the bridge built on the river collapsed at around 8.40 pm on Friday night.

After this, rescue work had to be started immediately, but the rescue work was carried out after 10 am on Saturday and rescue workers have so far pulled out five vehicles from the water. However, it has been raining heavily in China for the last few days. Therefore, some disaster or the other keeps happening everywhere. The tragedy that happened last night has shaken China's advanced technology and modern infrastructure.
