Ayodhya, 20 July (HS). Gujarat Governor Acharya Devvrat said on Saturday that this agricultural university has become the number one university in the whole country. We have seen many universities but this university is fully alive. On this occasion, he praised the work of the Vice Chancellor as well as the Agriculture Minister. 40 years ago there were no diseases like cancer, sugar and blood pressure but in today's time every person is struggling with the problem of some disease or the other. He said that today's agricultural system has become violent, which is slowly swallowing the lives of humans. He said that in our country, farmer brothers will have to stop using chemical fertilizers like DAP, urea etc. and adopt the path of natural and organic farming. If a 10-year-old child is getting cancer, then the main reason for it is diet and we are also responsible for it.
The Governor said that our samples are failing in Europe and America. On the other hand, people in Bangladesh, Pakistan and Sri Lanka are buying paddy. He said that we need to be alert at the right time. According to the UNO report, in 40 to 50 years the world's land will become barren and no grain will be produced. The Governor said that earthworms make the land fertile but farmers are killing them by using chemical fertilizers in order to produce more produce. Urea contains 46% salt. The organic carbon of the land has become 0.6. The lands have become barren. We are responsible for polluting food, water and air. If the situation remains the same in the future, then in the coming times humans will not be able to produce even children. He said that organic and chemical farming will cost money but to do natural farming, nothing needs to be bought from the market. We can do natural farming at home with the help of indigenous cows. There are 300 to 500 crore bacteria in one gram of cow dung and their number increases even more in stray animals. If farmers do organic farming, then after three years they will start getting more production. During this, he praised the massive tree plantation campaign being run in the university.
On Saturday, Acharya Narendra Dev was addressing the farmers in a consultancy seminar on natural farming organized in the auditorium of Agri Business Management of Acharya Narendra Dev Agriculture and Technology University, Kumarganj. All the guests inaugurated the seminar with the Jal Bharo program. Girl students welcomed the guests by singing the university song. On this occasion, Agriculture, Agricultural Education and Research Minister Surya Pratap Shahi said that this is the first university in the country which has received A plus plus grade in NAAC evaluation in one go. Some time ago, our country was known as the golden bird due to natural farming. Our country had a lot of wealth and natural products kept on exporting to foreign countries.

If precautions are not taken in time, the coming generations will be in danger. Minister Shahi said that the central and state governments are preparing various schemes for natural farming. Work is being done rapidly to make Bundelkhand a hub of natural farming. He said that in the coming times, under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, natural farming will play an important role in taking the country's economy to 01 trillion dollars. Today our country is exporting mangoes and other products to foreign countries. 40 quintals of mangoes have been sent to America. He said that an organic testing lab will be built in the Agricultural University at a cost of 10 crores in which the products of natural farming can be tested. For this, farmers will not have to go to other states. He appealed to everyone that if every person of the country plants one tree in the name of his country and one tree in the name of mother, then the whole country will become green. The Minister praised the massive tree plantation drive undertaken by the students and also talked about protecting those saplings.
In his welcome address, Vice Chancellor Dr. Bijendra Singh said that the university received A++ grade in the NAAC evaluation for the first time. This is the result of everyone's collective hard work. The Vice Chancellor said that natural and organic farming is being done on 10 acres of barren land in the university.
