A meeting of representatives of Akhada Parishad, saints and mahatmas with officials

Prayagraj, July 18 (HS). In the presence of Additional Director General of Police Bhanu Bhaskar, Divisional Commissioner Vijay Vishwas Pant, a meeting was held in Gandhi Auditorium on Thursday with the representatives of Akhada Parishad, saints and mahatmas to get suggestions regarding organizing Maha Kumbh 2025 in a divine, grand and safe manner. In which the representatives of Akhada Parishad, saints and mahatmas gave their suggestions and guidance.

In the meeting, Kumbh Mela Adhikari Vijay Kiran Anand explained in detail about the preparations being done in view of Maha Kumbh through a power presentation. He gave complete information about the arrangements being made in view of Maha Kumbh. He also gave detailed information about the preparations being made in relation to electricity, water, light, cameras and other arrangements at the parking places and said that preparations are being made on a large scale so that the revered saints and devotees coming to the fair area do not face any kind of inconvenience. In the meeting, the representatives of the Akhara Parishad assured full cooperation in organizing the Maha Kumbh smoothly and safely.

During this time, important suggestions were given by the representatives of the Akhada Parishad regarding increasing the land of Akhadas in view of the arrival of a large number of saints and mahatmas in view of the Mahakumbh, beautification and strengthening of major religious places along with installation of signage for the information of people, additional security arrangements and precautions in view of the Hathras incident, increasing the facilities provided in the last Kumbh, making necessary arrangements for organizing a plastic-free and clean Mahakumbh, timely completion of cleanliness and ongoing construction works etc.

Kumbh Mela Adhikari said that land allotment and facilities will be made available to the institutions in the fair area as per rules and on time. There will be no problem of any kind in this. All the implementing agencies will ensure that all the works are done in a timely manner with quality. He said that all the works will be completed on time by listing the suggestions and guidance given by you people.

The Additional Director General of Police said that it is our endeavour to organize a smooth, safe, grand and divine Maha Kumbh along with providing the best possible facilities to the saints and devotees visiting the fair. He said that the concept of Digital Kumbh will be realised along with crowd management and traffic management by using new technical features of artificial intelligence, security and safety.

The Divisional Commissioner said that the cooperation of all of you is expected to make the Maha Kumbh Mela plastic free. This will be possible only with the cooperation of all of you. He said that all the construction work that is going on will be completed by the month of October. At present, the work is going on in two shifts, if required, the work will be done in three shifts as well and the work will be completed on time with quality.

Police Commissioner Tarun Gaba said that by following the guidance and suggestions given by all of you, the world's biggest event will be conducted in a safe and secure manner. The fair will be organised smoothly by using modern technology in traffic management, security and crowd management.

In the end, senior officials assured the representatives of Akhada Parishad and saints that Maha Kumbh will be organized smoothly, safely, securely, cleanly, divinely and grandly by following the suggestions and guidance given by all of you. On this occasion, IG Prem Kumar Gautam, Additional Police Commissioner N. Kolanchi, Municipal Commissioner Chandra Mohan Garg, Chief Development Officer Gaurav Kumar, Additional Mela Adhikari Dayanand Prasad and Vivek Chaturvedi along with senior officials of other related departments were also present.
