The city commissioner deployed officers on the Kanwar route during the month of Sawan

Varanasi, July 17 (HS). Administrative preparations are in the final stages for the convenience of lakhs of Kanwariyas coming to Shri Kashi Vishwanath Darbar for Jalabhishek in the month of Sawan. Municipal Commissioner Akshat Verma has deployed senior officers and employees of the Municipal Corporation for proper management and arrangement on the Kanwar Yatra routes. The concerned zonal officers have been made supervisory officers in the Kanwar Yatra halting places and the Dharamshalas located there in the urban area.

Zonal Officer Manoj Kumar Tiwari has been appointed in-charge of Karmadeshwar, Kandwa. Similarly, Zonal Officer Indra Vijay Singh has been appointed in Kapildhara area. Zonal Officer Anil Yadav has been appointed in Shivpur. Along with these Zonal Officers, Regional Health Inspector and ten sanitation workers have also been deployed.
