This year, erosion is very fast in Dangrah Faizi Tola of Baisi block of Purnia, but no action has been taken so far to stop it, due to which the people here are living in an atmosphere of great fear. On receiving the information, many big public representatives of the area and many big top officials of the department also reached the spot, but till now all the efforts seem to be unsuccessful on the ground. Finally, on Wednesday, Mukhiya representative Zahiruddin reached Revenue Land Reform Minister Dr. Dilip Jaiswal and demanded to stop river erosion in ward number 11 Kalu Mastan Tola and ward number 12 Faizi Tola 9 Bangaraura and Yadav Tola of Sripur Mallah Toli.
Regarding the river erosion, the head of Shripur Mallah Toli Panchayat, Zahiruddin, has been continuously talking to the officials and demanding to stop the river erosion by giving written applications. However, all the big leaders, MPs and MLAs have visited the erosion site but till now no one's work has been done on the ground. Finally, the head representative Zahiruddin reached the Revenue Land Reform Minister Dilip Jaiswal and talked about stopping the river erosion of Shripur Mallah Toli Panchayat and also gave an application.
Minister of Revenue and Land Reform Dilip Jaiswal informed the District Magistrate through television and the District Magistrate took immediate action and ordered Engineer Water Resources Officer Anupam Vijay to reach the spot and inspect the river erosion and assured the villagers that very soon the work of stopping river erosion will be started here.
