Mathura, July 16 (HS). Mudia Purnima Mela has started in Govardhan from Tuesday. Railways and roadways have completed the preparations. While the railways have increased the number of trains till Mathura Junction station, the roadways have started running more than 500 buses on the roads for the fair. Along with this, the railways have increased the ticket windows and deployed railway officials at Mathura Junction and Govardhan station. This time lakhs of devotees are expected to come to Govardhan Mudia Purnima Mela. Railways have made many arrangements from their side to enable the devotees to have darshan of Lord Giriraj without any inconvenience.
Agra Railway Division PRO Prashanti Srivastava said that the railway has extended train no. 11901/11902 Agra Cantt- Veerangana Laxmibai Jhansi-Agra Cantt passenger train to Mathura Junction. The train has been extended between Agra Cantt and Mathura Junction from 17 to 24 July and between Mathura Junction and Agra Cantt from 18 to 24 July. Along with this, train no. 14212/14211 New Delhi-Agra Cantt-New Delhi Intercity Express has been extended to Gwalior. The train has been extended between Agra Cantt and Gwalior from 16 to 23 July and between Gwalior and Agra Cantt from 17 to 24 July. During this time, the train will also stop at Dholpur, Morena.
