Gopalganj, July 16 (HS). The brother of Kameshwar Singh, former Mukhiya of Dhativna Panchayat of Thawe police station area of Gopalganj district in Bihar, was shot and injured by bike riding criminals in broad daylight on Tuesday.
Regarding the incident, it is being told that the brother of the former Mukhiya, Mukhiya representative Ajay Singh, started taking a bath after returning from the village's espalier machine in the morning. Meanwhile, three criminals on a bike chased him and climbed the door and started firing indiscriminately at Mukhiya representative Ajay Singh. During the firing, he got shot in the right leg. After being shot, he fell on the ground injured. The people around rushed him to the Sadar Hospital where he is undergoing treatment.
As soon as the information about the incident was received, the Thawe police reached the spot and started investigating the matter. There is an atmosphere of panic among the villagers due to the firing by the criminals. SP Swarn Prabhat immediately formed an SIT to arrest the criminals in the firing case.
Under the leadership of Sadar SDPO Pranjal Kumar, DIU, Thawe SHO are continuously conducting raids to arrest criminals. After the shooting incident, as soon as the FSL lab was established to speed up the crime investigation in the district, for the first time scientist Pranav Kumar Rai reached Thawe to investigate the Dhativna shooting incident. During the investigation at the spot, two live bullets were recovered and a proper investigation was conducted. Till the time of writing the news, no one has been arrested.
