Cases of making pattas and committing fraud without the necessary documents in connivance have been coming to the fore, but the councilor of Nimbahera Nagarpalika of the district has crossed all limits of doing fraud. He made fake pattas while converting land without any file and document. When this matter was exposed and an FIR was lodged, he returned the money and got an FR registered in connivance with the police. But taking cognizance in the court, the higher officials were asked to investigate it. In this case, the councilor of the Nagarpalika and the contract worker have been arrested.
Nimbahera's Deputy Superintendent of Police Badrilal Rao said that Bhanupratap, a resident of Nimbahera Ishqabad, is a councillor of the Municipality. He also deals in property. Being a councillor of the Municipality, he was well acquainted with the contract worker Javed working in the Municipality. Taking advantage of this, Bhanupratap planned to convert the land without any documents and necessary formalities. Bhanupratap took money from Dipness Kanwar, daughter of a former police officer of Nimbahera, for converting her agricultural land and getting the patta made. In connivance with the contract worker of the Municipality, he got a fake patta issued and gave it to her. The matter was revealed when he applied to the Municipality for the transfer, then the Municipality returned the application saying that the patta was fake. After this, the concerned applicant lodged a case with the police. But the applicant was returned the money and in collusion with the police, the FR was presented in the court.
The court took cognizance, investigation revealed
After the FR was presented, when the court investigated the facts, it found that there was fraud and ordered that the case be investigated by an officer of the level of Circle Officer. On this, Nimbahera's Deputy Superintendent of Police Badrilal Rao studied the documents. After investigation, the contract worker of the municipality, Javed, was caught and questioned, he confessed to making fake pattas on the instructions of Bhanupratap. In this case, it was also learnt that apart from this, more fake pattas were made. In this case, Bhanupratap was also arrested and presented in the court, from where he was sent to jail. It is worth noting that a case of doda chura smuggling is also registered against Bhanupratap in Ajmer GRP police station.
Leases were to be made in computer proforma, even the signatures of chairman and EO were fake
According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Badrilal Rao, councillor Bhanu Pratap and contract worker Javed used to feed the names and addresses in the lease proforma in the computer and then forge the signatures of the chairman and EO and issue leases. They had made more than half a dozen leases in this manner. Police is now recovering the leases from Javed in this case, which will be sent for FSL investigation.
