Lok Bharati's national organization minister Brijendra Pal Singh said that before planting saplings on the land, plant the seeds in your mind, only then the earth will be green. He said these things in a meeting held on Saturday in Parijata Auditorium at the Forest Department Headquarters in Lucknow.
Environmental conservation is necessary not only for human life but also for the smooth functioning of the entire living world. Trees play an important role in environmental conservation. For this, along with planting and protecting plants, it is also necessary to know which plants should be planted on priority and when. Therefore, Lok Bharati has given special emphasis on these things in the meeting held at the Forest Department Headquarters in Lucknow.
In the meeting held under the joint aegis of Divisional Forest Officer Sitashu Pandey and Lok Bharati, forest department officials, Lok Bharati and many voluntary organizations as well as environment lovers participated. All of them pledged to plant Harishankari trees. For this, they demanded plants as per the requirement from the Divisional Forest Officer. The Divisional Forest Officer assured to provide the plants.
Divisional Forest Officer Sitashu Pandey said that before planting a sapling, its security arrangements will have to be considered, only then will the plantation be beneficial. An action plan for planting about 8556 saplings was prepared in the meeting, which are to be planted by the end of July. The most suitable time for planting saplings is the Shravan month of the rainy season. In such a situation, Lok Bharati is conducting Hariyali Maah across the country from 9 July to 7 August on the arrival of the rainy season. There is special emphasis on planting Peepal, Pakkad, Banyan i.e. Harishankari saplings. Lok Bharati Hariyali Abhiyan team will also tell the importance of plants to the people across the state and will play an important role in keeping the earth green.
Lok Bharati's Hariyali Abhiyan's coordinator Prem Sagar Tripathi said that when nature remains safe, God's blessings will also remain and we will be free from disasters. These green trees will become the medium to connect all of us with nature and God. Three holy trees Peepal, Pakkad and Banyan have been added as Harishankari. He has appealed to the people to plant trees and nurture them like children. It is our responsibility not only to plant trees but also to protect them. Initiatives have to be taken from now to make the coming era green. The meeting was conducted by Lok Bharati's National Secretary and Hariyali Mah Abhiyan's Lucknow coordinator Dr. Parth Pratim. Lok Bharati's National President Vijay Bahadur Singh, Gopal Upadhyay, Shri Krishna Chaudhary, Bhaskar Asthana, Dr. Hridayesh Bihari, Kamlesh Gupta, Chandrabhushan Tiwari etc. were present in the meeting.
