Fatehpur, July 13 (HS). In the district, on Saturday night, after a dispute escalated due to the groom's side refusing to pay for the beauty parlor, the angry groom threatened to take the bride home after the wedding and kill her. On this, the bride also refused to marry. The police arrived on the information and got the two sides to settle the matter by making a deal. After this, the wedding procession returned without the bride.
According to reports, the marriage of Jai Singh, son of Mishrilal, a resident of Sattepur village in the Malwan police station area, was fixed in a village in the Bindki Kotwali area.
Jaisingh's baraat reached the bride's village on Friday evening. After the welcome, the women of the house called a beautician from a beauty parlor to do makeup for the bride for the jaimala ceremony. After this, when the girl's side asked the boy's side to pay for the expenses incurred on the bride's makeup, the boy's side refused to pay. After this, a dispute started between the two sides.
The groom said that he will not perform the jaimala ritual. He will directly send off the bride after doing the bhavre and take her home. Hearing this, the girl's side insisted on the jaimala ritual. It is alleged that after this the groom got up from the Janwasa and went straight to the bride's house and threatened the bride saying that after the farewell he will take her to her in-laws' house and kill her within 3 days. Hearing this the bride refused to marry.
Police station in-charge inspector Sanjay Pandey said that there was a dispute between the bride and groom's side regarding the money transaction of the beauty parlor. The police has made peace between the two sides. After this, the bride's side sent the groom back empty-handed without sending the bride away. Despite this, no complaint has been made by any party in this matter.
