Police team which went to resolve the dispute was attacked, one constable was seriously injured

Jaunpur, July 13 (HS). On Friday night, miscreants attacked the police team which reached the Pawara police station on the information of a dispute between two parties. A constable was injured in this incident. The injured constable has been admitted to the district hospital for treatment. Superintendent of Police Dr Ajay Pal Sharma reached the hospital as soon as he got information about the incident. He enquired about the condition of the injured constable. Police has started taking action against the attackers.

On receiving information about a fight between two parties at Bankat of Pawara police station area last night at 1 o'clock on Friday, the PRV team reached the spot. Constable Radhecharan Yadav, Home Guard Shubham Patel were inquiring about the incident when Virendra Gautam, his brother Chandrakesh Gautam and others attacked the constable. He was seriously injured in the fight. The constable was immediately taken to Machhli Shahar Community Health Center, where he was referred to the district hospital after seeing his critical condition. Superintendent of Police Dr. Ajay Pal Sharma reached the district hospital on receiving information about the employee posted on PRB 3825 being injured. After getting information about the health of the constable, he instructed his subordinates to take strict action against the attackers.

Giving information on this matter on Saturday, Machhlishahr Area Magistrate Girendra Kumar Singh said that when the dispute was reported to PRB 3825, the police personnel reached the spot and were trying to resolve the dispute. Then Virendra Gautam and his brother Chandrakesh Gautam attacked Radhecharan Yadav, a police personnel posted in PRB. Due to which he got seriously injured. He is undergoing treatment at the district hospital. In connection with the above incident, a case has been registered and the attackers are being searched.
