Mirzapur, July 12 (HS). Senior litterateur Adidarshak Chaturvedi died on Thursday night during treatment in a hospital in Noida. He was 76 years old. Family members said that his last rites will be performed in Noida and other programs will be held in Mirzapur.
Anjani Pratap alias Adhidarshak Chaturvedi's ancestral home was Zamania Ghazipur. In 2023, his two literary books “Aapke Haath Mein Gulab Aaye” (Ghazal Collection) and “Dost Anand Bhawan Rota Hai” (Poetry Collection) were published. These were released at Shaheed Udyan in Narghat, Mirzapur. After this, some time ago, he addressed the people on a stage at the release ceremony of politician poet Bhagwati Chaudhary's poetry collection “Deep Jalata Hoon Ekta Ka”. Along with being a revolutionary writer, he was also a supporter of the long tradition of Congress.
There is a wave of mourning in the literary world due to his demise. Many prominent people including Dr. Anuj Pratap Singh, Prof. Renu Rani Singh, Dr. Vandana Mishra, Dr. Ramashankar Shukla have expressed deep condolences.
