A horrific accident took place in Unnao, Uttar Pradesh early in the morning. A tanker and a double-decker bus collided violently on the Lucknow-Agra Expressway, after which the bus overturned several times. 18 passengers have died in this accident. While more than 30 people have been injured.
According to the information, the double-decker bus was going from Sitamadhi in Bihar to Delhi. At around 4:30 in the morning, when it reached near Behta village in Mujawar police station area of Unnao, a milk tanker coming at full speed overtook it and in the meantime the tanker collided with the bus. The accident was so severe that the double-decker bus overturned several times and split into two parts. As soon as the information about the incident was received, the DM and SP reached the spot. The injured are being taken to the hospital.
Passersby informed the police about the accident. As soon as the information was received, the police inspector of Bangarmau reached the spot with a heavy police force. He took the injured to the Community Health Center Bangarmau for treatment. Here the doctors declared 18 people dead. The doctors have referred the seriously injured passengers to the trauma center in Lucknow. The dead include 14 men, 3 women and a child.
