East Champaran, 09 July (HS). DM Saurabh Jorwal inspected the Chakia subdivision office on Tuesday. During this, he visited all the branches of the office and also obtained information about the maintenance of files along with the attendance of the employees.
He closely inspected the maintenance of all the registers including the incoming and outgoing register. Along with this, after seeing the seating arrangement of the employees and the cleanliness of the office, he gave many necessary instructions. During this, the DM also inspected the RTPS counter and obtained information about the execution of the received applications. He also directed to provide two security guards for the security of the subdivision premises.
The DM also received information from the Chakia Sub-Divisional Officer about the works done to prevent possible floods. Giving this information, the SDM said that Chakia and Kesaria blocks are flood affected areas whereas Mehsi block is partially flood affected. All preparations have been made at the zonal level to prevent floods. The police station, zone and engineering cell have been kept vigilant and are ensuring compliance of whatever instructions are being received. The DM directed the Sub-Divisional Officer to visit the area and keep a constant eye on the flood situation.
