Land mortgaged to bank sold after cutting plot, complaint

Meerut, 09 July (HS). The land mafia sold the land mortgaged to the bank in Dabka village of Kankarkheda police station area by dividing it into plots. On Tuesday, the victims submitted a memorandum to District Magistrate Deepak Meena and appealed for action.

The people of Dabka village gathered and reached the District Magistrate's office on Tuesday. They submitted a memorandum to District Magistrate Deepak Meena and alleged that the land mortgaged to the bank has been sold by land mafia by dividing it into plots.

He said that Satendra Prakash Singhal, son of Shriprakash Gupta, resident of Anandpuri, Railway Road and Vipin Kumar, resident of Shastri Nagar have registered these plots. Satendra Prakash Singhal has taken a loan of about five crore rupees from Punjab National Bank on all these properties. These people sold the land by cheating and conspiring with about 73 people. Whereas this land is already mortgaged with the bank.

He said that many property dealers are also involved in this conspiracy. These people have committed fraud worth crores of rupees. The victims demanded legal action against the fraudsters in this case from the District Magistrate. The District Magistrate assured to take action in this matter.
