Get direct admission in BPA in CSJM University

Kanpur, 9 July (HS). With the implementation of NEP, Chhatrapati Shahuji Maharaj University (CSJMU) is going to give direct admission in BPA. For this, it is mandatory to pass the intermediate examination from any recognized board. Thus, now along with direct admission in music subject, there is a good opportunity to develop multi-talent through various best mediums like music band, studio etc.

On one hand, 12th pass students can get direct admission in BPA Bachelor of Performing Arts (Singing, Kathak, Tabla and Theatre) run under the Music Department of “School of Creative and Performing Arts” located in the campus of Chhatrapati Shahuji Maharaj University Kanpur, while on the other hand, graduate pass students can get direct admission in MA (Singing, Tabla, Sitar) or MPA (Kathak, Theatre).

Media in-charge Vishal Sharma said on Tuesday that it is now possible since the implementation of NEP that direct admission is being provided without any prior training in the relevant subject.
