Rahul Gandhi stopped to see the farmers in Lucknow and asked about their problems

Lucknow, July 09 (HS). While returning from his parliamentary constituency Raebareli, Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi stopped at Mohanlalganj in Lucknow district to see the farmers and asked about their problems. Seeing Rahul Gandhi, many officials associated with Bharatiya Kisan Union also gathered there. The farmers had a detailed discussion with Rahul Gandhi on issues like land grabbing by land mafia, LDA action and acquisition.

Actually, in Mohanlalganj, farmers were marching towards the commissioner's residence in support of their demands. Meanwhile, Rahul Gandhi's convoy was passing from there. He stopped his convoy and talked to the farmers. Rahul Gandhi took the demand letter from the farmers. When the information of farmers coming on the road was received, the police also became active and reached the spot and immediately removed them from the road. During this, the officials of the farmer union also had an altercation with the policemen.
