Araria 08 July (HS). Purnia MP Rajesh Ranjan alias Pappu Yadav was ceremoniously felicitated by the citizens in Araria town hall. Thousands of supporters warmly welcomed Pappu Yadav in the program organized in the town hall and garlanded him. Purnia MP Pappu Yadav mainly targeted Bihar government and BJP leaders. He slammed Bihar Deputy CM Vijay Kumar Sinha and said that the fight to start flight services from Purnia airport was fought years ago. He claimed that flight services would start from Purnia airport in two years. He also claimed that a network of roads would be laid across Seemanchal area.
While advocating for special state status for Bihar and special package for Kosi and Seemanchal, he questioned the double engine government and asked when Bihar will get the status of a special state. To get rid of floods, he termed construction of high dams along with setting up of maize and makhana based industries as a priority. MP Pappu Yadav said that there are ten secretary level officers in Patna, who have been posted there for thirty years. Their investigation is necessary and only their department is changed in thirty years. MP Pappu Yadav said that medical mafia along with politicians and bureaucrats have made Seemanchal a pasture. He will not let this happen. He said that after breaking the strong hold of medical mafia from Purnia, a campaign will be launched against medical mafia in the entire Seemanchal and Kosi area. He said that Bihar needs to be given special state status and special package for Kosi and Seemanchal and his struggle will continue for this. The felicitation ceremony was also addressed by Prince Victor, Halchal Ali, Zeeshan Ali, Cancer Alam, Imtiaz Anees, Saheb Raja, Afaq Anwar, JD Singh Yadav etc.
